How to Clean an iROCKER Inflatable Paddle Board

Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: Keep the board inflated for cleaning
Bring the board to normal shape on a smooth clean surface away from sharp objects. It does not need maximum sun-heated pressure, but enough inflation keeps folds open and lets you inspect seams. Remove leash, fins, seat and loose accessories according to their fittings.
Step 2: Inspect seams, valve and deck
Look for a cut, lifted seam, bubbling, a loose valve, damaged fin box or peeling deck pad. Listen around the valve and use the approved soap-bubble leak test only when troubleshooting. Do not keep washing through a known open seam or attempt a valve adjustment while the board is fully pressurized.
Step 3: Dust and rinse first
Brush away dry sand and rinse the full board with fresh low-pressure water. iROCKER emphasizes rinsing after saltwater use; include rails, underside, valve surround, D-rings, handles, fin boxes, fins, paddle and leash hardware. Do not direct pressure water into seam edges or the valve.
Step 4: Apply mild cleaner
Mix mild soap with warm water and apply it by sponge or soft brush. Work one section at a time so solution does not dry on the PVC. Avoid solvent, acetone, gasoline, bleach and aggressive marine cleaner unless iROCKER explicitly approves the exact product.
Step 5: Scrub the deck pad gently
Use a soft-bristle brush in the grooves of the traction pad to lift sunscreen, mud and salt. Scrub with the texture rather than attacking pad edges. A hard brush can fuzz EVA, lift adhesive edges and change traction.
Step 6: Detail fittings and fin boxes
Clean around D-rings, bungees, handles and the valve cap with a cloth or small soft brush. Flush sand from fin-box channels before reinstalling fins. Do not push grit deeper with a metal pick or lubricate the valve and fin systems with an unapproved oil.
Step 7: Rinse until no film remains
Use fresh water to remove all soap from top, bottom, rails and accessories. Check the deck pad by rubbing it with a clean wet hand; continued slickness means more rinsing is needed. Cleaner and salt residue can reduce traction and age material during storage.
Step 8: Dry completely before deflating
Towel the board and leave it inflated in shade with airflow to both faces. Turn it once and dry fin boxes, valve recesses, bungee anchors and the underside of accessories. Do not bake it in direct sun or deflate it while water is trapped in deck-pad grooves.
Step 9: Deflate, roll loosely and store
Move the dry board out of sun, release pressure through the normal valve procedure and protect the valve from dirt. Roll according to iROCKER's packing direction without creasing fins or forcing a tight fold across fittings. Store cool and dry, with accessories dry and separated enough to prevent abrasion.
