Step 1: Identify both the earplug and the fitted tip

Check the Loop model and the tips actually installed. Accessories can be changed, so the original product name does not always tell you whether the current tip is silicone, foam or Dream's hybrid design. Loop's care guide makes the material distinction central. Lay out a clean space and keep left/right settings or tip sizes organized if they differ. Do not begin by dropping the complete pair into a mug of cleaning solution.

Step 2: Remove detachable tips gently and inspect them

Where the design permits, remove the tips according to its instructions, holding the earplug securely instead of tugging a delicate part. Look for visible wax, tears, distortion or debris around the attachment point. Separate cleaning from replacement: a torn tip is not restored by washing, and a loose-fitting attachment needs correction before it returns to your ear. Work in good light so you can see the small openings; do not push a needle into a filter to check whether it is clear.

Step 3: Wash ordinary silicone tips separately

Step 6: Dry openly and clean the storage area

Wipe visible debris from the empty case and let any wiped surfaces dry before returning the pair. Inspect before reassembly for retained lint or an incompletely seated tip.
