Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: End the job and disconnect the base
Pause cleaning in the app, remove the robot from the base, power it down, and unplug the base station. Place the robot on a soft dry surface before turning it over. Keep water and cleaning solution away from the LiDAR housing, sensors, electrical contacts, base vents, dust inlet, and power connection.
Step 2: Service the selected dust system

Step 3: Clean and dry the dust-bin filter

Step 4: Remove debris from the floating roller

The Freo X Ultra is designed to reduce tangling, but cords, thread, and pet hair can still reach the end gaps. Use blunt scissors away from the roller surface and seals. Wipe the compartment dry and reinstall the roller and cover securely.
Step 5: Clean both side brushes and the wheels

Step 8: Remove and clean the base cleaning tray

Wipe and dry the tray recess without pouring water into the base. Inspect the drain, tank seats, locks, and seals, then return the tray level and fully seated.
