How to Clean a Roborock F25 ACE
The Roborock F25 ACE is a wet-dry floor cleaner with separate clean and dirty tanks, an auto-detergent dispenser, a removable roller, dirty-water path, filter, adaptive drive wheels and a powered drying dock. Its self-clean cycle washes the roller and starts drying, but the manual still sets hands-on maintenance: the roller every two to four weeks, filter monthly, clean tank every two to four weeks, and other paths as needed. The filter must dry at least 24 hours, while the cleaner head and dock must not be rinsed directly. This guide is for the F25 ACE wet-dry vacuum, not the ACE Combo or other F25 variants whose tanks and accessories differ.

Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: Finish the run and dock the machine
Lock the F25 ACE upright on standby and place it on its charging dock. Confirm both tanks are seated and the battery level supports maintenance. Press the self-clean control while charging and let the smart cycle finish. Drying begins automatically after self-cleaning under the standard setup; keep hands away from hot dock, roller and outlet surfaces until they cool.
Step 2: Empty the dirty tank immediately
After self-cleaning and drying, follow the voice prompt and remove the dirty tank by its handle. Pull out the cover and empty liquid into a sanitary drain, separating hair and solids for trash. Roborock says prompt emptying helps prevent odor. Rinse approved tank pieces with cold clean water and do not wet any electronic area.
Step 3: Clean the dirty-tank filter
Remove the filter from the tank cover and use the supplied maintenance brush to remove debris from the surrounding assembly as shown. Roborock says not to touch the filter surface with hands, brushes or sharp objects. If the filter is very dirty, rinse it with cold water, shake off excess and leave it to dry thoroughly for at least 24 hours before reinstallation.
Step 4: Rinse the clean tank
Remove the clean tank at a slight angle using its release and rinse the tank bottom with clean water. Use cold water because the manual warns hot water can deform the tank. The F25 ACE has a separate cleaning-solution fill port; use only Roborock-recommended solution and never add disinfectant. Do not mix formula directly at a stronger ratio or put soap into the dirty tank.
Step 5: Remove and rinse the roller
Power the cleaner off and stabilize it. Pull the roller release tab and slide the roller out along the head. Use the supplied brush carefully to remove hair and dirt, then rinse the roller with clean water. Keep the roller cap attached while cleaning because Roborock warns detaching it can cause damage; the cap is removed as a complete piece only when transferring it to a replacement roller.
Step 6: Clean the roller slot and dirty-water path
With both tanks and roller removed, use the supplied maintenance brush inside the user-accessible roller slot and dirty-water pathway. Lift residue outward and wipe it away. Do not rinse the cleaner head directly with water, insert sharp tools, or push debris deeper into tubing. Reinstall the tanks and roller only after visible residue has been removed.
Step 7: Wipe the cleaner body and adaptive wheels
Remove the vacuum from its dock, power it off and wipe the body with a soft dry cloth. Clean the adaptive drive wheels regularly, removing exposed hair without opening their housings. Do not spray the display, sensor area or wheel mechanisms, and do not lubricate them. Abnormal wear requires part replacement or service.
Step 8: Unplug and wipe the charging dock
Disconnect the dock from power and use a soft dry cloth on its surface and charging contacts. Roborock explicitly says not to rinse the charging dock with water or clean contacts with a wet cloth or wet hands. Clear the drying air outlets gently without inserting tools. Reconnect only when the dock area and floor are dry.
Step 9: Reassemble on the manual's schedule
Fit the dry filter, tank cover, tanks and roller until each clicks. Roborock lists roller maintenance every two to four weeks with replacement around six to twelve months, filter maintenance monthly with similar replacement range, and tanks, path, wheels, dock and contacts as needed. Replace abnormal wear sooner. For long storage, fully charge, switch off, keep cool and dry and recharge at least every three months.
