How to Clean a Samsung Bespoke Jet Cordless Vacuum
Samsung Bespoke Jet and compatible Jet Stick vacuums combine a washable dustbin and filter system with powered brush heads and, on many packages, an All-in-One Clean Station. Fine dust can remain on the metal-mesh grille even after the station empties the bin, so manual maintenance is still necessary. Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: Turn off and remove the battery
Stop the Bespoke Jet, detach it from the charger or Clean Station, and remove the battery before opening the dustbin or brush. Separate the wand and accessory. Do not press the power button with the filter stack removed. Keep the battery, vacuum motor, display, charging contacts, Clean Station, and powered-brush connectors completely dry.
Step 2: Empty the dustbin before MAX
Use the Clean Station if equipped, following its lid and bag-status instructions, or release the bin for manual emptying over trash. Samsung advises cleaning the dustbin before debris reaches MAX. Do not push compacted dirt toward the motor. Inspect the bin flap and seals for hair that could prevent a tight close, even when automatic emptying appears complete.
Step 3: Remove the washable micro filter
Release the filter assembly in the sequence shown for the exact Jet model. Separate the washable micro filter from the dustbin and metal-mesh grille. Samsung suggests cleaning this filter about once a month. Tap loose dust gently and hold rigid edges rather than pulling the media. Note the alignment marks so each part returns in the correct direction.
Step 4: Clean the metal-mesh grille carefully
Use the supplied combination tool to lift dust from the grille and cyclone openings. Samsung specifically warns against pulling the rubber section attached to the metal mesh because it can tear or lose its shape. Remove wrapped fibers with light strokes and avoid sharp probes that could dent the mesh or damage a seal.
Step 5: Rinse approved bin and filter parts
Rinse the washable micro filter, dustbin, and approved cyclone or mesh assembly with cold water as Samsung directs for the model. Use no detergent, bleach, fragrance, solvent, or dishwasher. Do not wash a Clean Station dust bag or any nonwashable fine-dust filter. Keep the main vacuum and electrical brush heads out of the sink.
Step 6: Shade-dry for more than 24 hours
Shake off excess water without twisting filter media and place every washed component in shade with good ventilation for more than 24 hours. Turn the bin so trapped water can drain from seams. Do not use direct sun, a hair dryer, radiator, oven, or clothes dryer. Reinstalling a damp filter can create odor and allow moisture into the motor.
Step 7: Clean the brush head
Turn the detached Jet Dual Brush, Slim Action Brush, or other supplied head over and use its model-specific release. Remove the roller only where designed for user removal, cut away hair without damaging bristles, and clean end caps. Wipe the powered housing dry. Some rollers have different water-care rules, so never assume a soft roller is washable without checking its own instructions.
Step 8: Maintain the Clean Station
Unplug the Clean Station before exterior cleaning or bag replacement. Replace, rather than empty, a full disposable dust bag; wipe the exterior and accessible dust path dry. Do not rinse the station, blow dust into its motor, or operate it without its prescribed filters and bag. Clear only access points described in the station manual.
Step 9: Reassemble and run a short test
When every washed part is dry throughout, seat the mesh assembly, washable micro filter, and bin in the marked order. Lock the brush roller, reconnect the wand, and install the battery. Test briefly at normal power. Stop if the display reports an obstruction, suction remains weak, or dust escapes, then recheck the bin seals, filter seating, and complete airflow path.
