Step 1: Switch off and separate the attachments

Turn the device off and disconnect the charging cable. Work away from a filled sink and keep the cable on a dry surface. Remove the attachment ring by its intended magnetic connection, using the manual's illustrations if unfamiliar. Do not open the housing or pull apart an electronic ring. Lay each component where you can identify it: Cleansing Ring, microcurrent ring, LED ring, and any optional hot/cold rings require deliberate separation. A common magnetic connection does not mean a common immersion rating.

Step 2: Inspect the residue before adding moisture

Look for gel around the microcurrent contacts, cleanser around the Cleansing Ring, and cosmetic residue near attachment interfaces. Check for cracks, loose parts, or material that seems to have entered an opening. Routine cleaning is for accessible contamination; it is not a repair for fluid inside the device. Keep the light-producing surfaces protected from hard tools. If residue has dried, soften it with a controlled damp wipe instead of picking at it with a nail or blade.

Step 3: Wipe the device body gently

Use a damp soft cloth or an alcohol-free cleansing wipe, working around the grip and accessible outer surfaces. The cloth should not release drops when squeezed. Keep moisture out of the USB-C connector and other openings, and never hold the device under a running tap. Follow with a clean dry cloth as needed. Do not use facial exfoliating acids, household disinfectant sprays, or a skin toner as an equipment cleaner simply because those products are nearby on the bathroom counter.

Step 4: Remove gel from the electronic rings

Wipe accessible ring surfaces until gel and other visible residue are gone. Use a fresh section of cloth rather than spreading the same sticky film around the contact area. The US PRO manual specifies damp wiping or an alcohol-free cleansing wipe for the device and rings. Keep electronic attachments out of standing water. If the surface still feels coated after wiping, repeat gently rather than escalating to an alcohol soak.

Step 5: Rinse only the detached Cleansing Ring

Confirm that the component in your hand is the Cleansing Ring before using running water. Detach it first so the device cannot accidentally enter the stream. Rinse away cleanser and debris gently, paying attention to the textured cleaning surface, then shake off loose drops over the sink. Do not carry this exception over to the microcurrent, LED, or temperature-control attachments. A removable accessory can still contain electrical parts. No dishwasher or boiling cycle is part of this routine.

Step 6: Dry every contact area before reassembly

Place the cleaned pieces on a clean towel with airflow around them. Inspect recesses and magnetic contact areas for visible moisture. A dry-looking front surface is not enough if drops remain on the back of a ring. Let the device and attachments dry thoroughly before another treatment, storage, or charging. Do not use a hair dryer to force a quick turnaround. Keep a damp wipe or wet Cleansing Ring out of a closed case with the power cable.

Step 7: Reassemble and keep treatment decisions separate

Refit the dry attachment in its correct orientation without forcing it. If the ring does not seat normally, check for residue or a mismatch before powering on. Use the device's treatment instructions and precautions independently of this cleaning guide; clean equipment does not remove a therapy contraindication.
