How to Clean a Tineco FLOOR ONE S7 Pro

Step 1: Park on the dock and prepare both tanks

Place the S7 Pro upright on its charging dock and keep the dock connected as Tineco specifies for self-cleaning. Remove and empty the dirty-water tank first. Fill the clean-water tank to at least one-third with clean water, then seat both tanks securely. Do not begin the cycle with the dirty tank full or missing.

Step 2: Select quick or super self-cleaning

Press the self-clean button at the top of the handle, then press again to choose quick or super mode if prompted. After the short countdown, let the machine complete the full program and shut itself off. Tineco lists roughly 120 seconds for quick self-cleaning and 360 seconds for super self-cleaning. Do not lift the machine mid-cycle.

Step 3: Empty and separate the dirty-water tank immediately

Remove the recovery tank, pour out the wastewater, and separate the lid, dry filter, and debris channel or strainer according to the guide. Clear hair and solids before rinsing so they do not block a household drain. Leaving this tank sealed while wet is a common cause of odor even when the roller looks clean.

Step 4: Rinse the tank and float without soaking electronics

Rinse the tank, lid, and removable debris parts with clean water. Use the supplied brush in corners and around the float, making sure the float moves normally. The tank itself contains no reason to use bleach, vinegar, essential oil, or abrasive powder. Keep all water away from the powered body and electrical contacts.

Step 5: Clean the dry filter and let it fully air-dry

Tap loose debris into a bin, then rinse the washable dry filter with clean water if the S7 Pro guide or app directs. Do not use a hard brush on filter media, reinstall it damp, or substitute a similar-looking third-party piece without checking fit. Set it in moving air until no moisture remains in its folds.

Step 6: Remove and wash the brush roller after each use

Release the roller cover, pull out the brush roller by its tab, and use the cleaning tool to remove hair from the roller and end cap. Tineco advises cleaning the roller after every use. Rinse the removable roll under water and squeeze out excess moisture gently; do not soak the powered roller chamber or drive socket.

Step 7: Clear the scraper, suction inlet, and sensor window

Wipe wet lint from the scraper edge and use the cleaning brush in the accessible suction opening. Wipe the iLoop dirt-sensor window carefully with a soft damp cloth so residue does not cause a false dirty reading. Do not scratch a clear sensor surface or push debris farther into an internal airway.

Step 8: Wipe the machine and clean-water tank

Remove any leftover operating solution and rinse the clean tank and cap. Wipe the handle, display, exterior, and tank receivers with a soft damp cloth, then dry them. Never place the whole S7 Pro under a faucet, spray the display, or open the built-in battery compartment.

Step 9: Dry the roller, cover, filter, and tank parts separately

Stand the brush roller where air reaches all sides and leave the cover, tank, lid, and filter separated. Wipe water from the dock tray and roller chamber. Avoid direct sun, heaters, hair dryers, and enclosed cabinets. Reassembling damp parts traps wastewater odor and can restrict airflow through the dry filter.

Step 10: Reassemble and confirm free movement

Install the dry brush roller into its drive side, press the tab end down, and lock the cover. Refit the dry filter and recovery-tank components in their original orientation. Seat the tanks and rotate the roller by hand only as the guide permits to confirm it is not pinched. Store the machine upright on its clean, dry tray.
