How to Clean a Ninja PossibleCooker Pro
The Ninja Foodi PossibleCooker Pro separates into washable food-contact pieces and an electrical cooking base that must never be immersed. Ninja's MC1000-series guidance says all parts except the cooking base are dishwasher safe, but gentle hand washing can reduce surface wear and makes it easier to inspect the removable pot, glass lid and integrated utensil. Harsh chemicals and oven cleaner are not appropriate. Because the removable pot can also be used in an oven on supported models, verify the exact MC1000 or MC1001 manual before assuming every accessory has the same temperature or cleaning limits.

Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: Stop cooking, unplug and cool
Cancel the cooking program, unplug the base and move the removable pot only with dry oven mitts if it is still hot. Let the pot, lid, utensil and base reach a safe temperature. Do not add cold water to a hot pot or set a hot insert on an unprotected wet counter, where thermal shock or warping can occur.
Step 2: Remove food and separate washable parts
Transfer leftovers and lift the cooking pot out of the electrical base. Remove the glass lid and integrated spoon or utensil. Check whether any optional rack or accessory came with the exact model. Do not attempt to remove heating elements, controls or fixed base components; the cooking base is the one part Ninja excludes from dishwasher cleaning.
Step 3: Soak the cooled pot for stuck residue
Add warm water and mild dish soap to the cooled removable pot and allow stuck food to soften. Lift it with a silicone or plastic utensil and a soft sponge. Avoid metal scraping, steel wool, abrasive powder and oven cleaner. Repeated gentle soaking is preferable to damaging the cooking surface or exterior base-contact area.
Step 4: Hand-wash the removable cooking pot
Wash the interior, rim, handles and exterior with warm soapy water and a nonabrasive sponge. Give particular attention to the upper residue line after slow cooking. Rinse until no soap remains. Keep the bottom clean and flat because grease or crumbs there will contact the cooking base during the next use.
Step 5: Clean the glass lid and utensil
Wash both faces of the cooled glass lid, its rim and handle with mild soap and a soft sponge. Use a soft brush around accessible edges without forcing anything beneath a fixed seal. Wash the integrated spoon or utensil separately. Do not expose hot glass to cold water or use abrasive cleaner that can create scratches.
Step 6: Use the dishwasher only for approved parts
Ninja says all MC1000-series parts except the cooking base are dishwasher safe. Arrange the pot, lid and utensil securely so spray reaches food-contact surfaces and pieces cannot strike each other. Confirm optional accessories separately. Hand washing remains a gentler alternative, particularly when preserving appearance and reducing contact between hard dishwasher items.
Step 7: Wipe the electrical base only
With the base unplugged and cool, remove crumbs with a dry cloth and wipe exterior controls and the heating well with a well-wrung damp cloth as the manual permits. Apply no liquid directly to the base. Never immerse it, put it in a dishwasher or use oven cleaner, harsh chemicals or an abrasive pad.
Step 8: Dry every contact surface completely
Air-dry the pot, lid and utensil or use a clean soft towel. Dry the pot bottom, base heating area, handle joints and lid rim thoroughly. Inspect the base for pooled liquid before assembly. Moisture or food trapped between the insert and electrical base can create odor, staining or improper seating during the next heating cycle.
Step 9: Reassemble and perform a dry inspection
Place the clean dry pot squarely into the clean dry base, set the lid without forcing it and store the utensil in its intended location. Confirm the cord, handles, glass and coating are undamaged. Plug in only after inspection. If controls, the base or cord became wet, leave the unit disconnected until completely dry.
