Step-by-step instructions

Step 1: End the session and disconnect charging

Turn the controller off, unplug the charging lead and separate it from wall power. Omnilux specifically says not to clean while the device is charging. Let the mask return to room temperature and wash and dry your hands before handling the transparent treatment side.

Step 2: Support the flexible mask flat

Step 7: Air-dry on a clean surface

Place the mask flat on a clean dry surface until no moisture remains at an LED edge, opening, seam or connector. Do not hang it by the cable, close it in a bag while damp or accelerate drying with a hair dryer, radiator or direct sunlight.

Step 8: Inspect before charging and use

Check that the silicone remains smooth, the LED lenses are clear and the cable and controller are intact. Surface residue should wipe away; haze beneath an LED, a split cable, swelling, permanent scorching or an exposed conductor requires support. Reconnect charging only when the mask, controller and plugs are completely dry.
