Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: Park on the storage tray and inspect the tanks
Turn off the iFLOOR, place it upright on its storage tray, and connect the charging base as the manual directs. Before self-cleaning, empty the dirty-water tank and make sure the clean-water tank is at least about one-third full; some support prompts use a roughly 40 percent threshold. Keep hands away from the roller while the cycle can start.
Step 2: Run the one-touch self-clean cycle
Press the self-clean button while the machine is docked and charging. Let the approximately 40-second program finish and allow the unit to shut off automatically. If the cycle will not start, check its charge, upright seating, clean-water level, and dirty-tank status. Self-clean flushes the path but does not empty wastewater or remove all hair.
Step 3: Empty the dirty-water tank immediately
Remove the tank upright, release its lid and separator, discard solid debris into the trash, and pour wastewater into a suitable drain. Do this after every use rather than leaving warm, dirty water sealed in the machine. Observe the MAX line during operation; an overfilled tank or blocked separator can cause automatic shutoff and poor recovery.
Step 4: Rinse the tank, separator, and float area
Rinse the detached dirty tank, lid, separator, and accessible float with clean water. Use the supplied tool on residue without bending the float or damaging seals. Wipe the tank bay with a damp, well-wrung cloth and keep water out of the body. Leave the tank components open until no droplets remain.
Step 5: Clean and dry the dirty-water filter
Remove loose debris from the dry filter, then rinse it only as Tineco's exact guide permits. Gently work residue from its surface and avoid an abrasive brush. Shake off water and air-dry completely before reinstallation. A wet or clogged filter can cause weak suction, water left on the floor, or a dirty-tank warning even after the tank is empty.
Step 6: Remove the roller cover and brush roller
Press the cover release, lift the cover away, and pull the roller by its tab. Tineco recommends brush-roller cleaning after every use. Cut away wrapped hair with blunt scissors, avoiding the roller material and bearing area. Clean both end recesses and inspect the cover's scraper edge for compacted lint.
Step 7: Rinse the roller and cover
Rinse both detached pieces under clean running water and use the cleaning tool on stubborn residue. Do not soak the powered floorhead. Shake out the roller and stand it in the storage tray's drying position or another ventilated area. Let the core and end area dry completely; alternating two rollers can keep one available while the other dries.
Step 8: Clear the suction channel
With the roller and tank removed and the machine powered off, use the 3-in-1 tool to clear visible hair and debris from the brush chamber and suction inlet. Wipe accessible surfaces with a damp cloth, then dry them. Never push a sharp rod into the channel or pour water into the powered head to chase a blockage.
Step 9: Rinse the clean-water tank before storage
Discard stale solution, rinse the tank and cap, and inspect its valve. For use, fill clean water to its line and add only the directed amount of Tineco formula. Do not use bleach, vinegar, dish detergent, soap, wax, essential oils, or another high-foam cleaner. Empty and rinse the tank before extended storage.
Step 10: Reassemble and perform a pickup check
Install the dry roller, lock its cover, assemble the dry filter, separator, lid, and dirty tank, then fit both tanks firmly. Charge and test with a small amount of fresh solution on an approved sealed hard floor. If water remains, stop and recheck the filter, separator, tank seals, suction channel, roller, and cover rather than repeatedly passing over the wet area.
