How to Clean a eufy Robot Vacuum Omni E28
The eufy Robot Vacuum Omni E28 combines a robot vacuum, HydroJet roller-mop system, self-emptying and mop-washing station, plus the E28-only FlexiOne portable deep cleaner. Those systems create three separate dirt paths: dry debris through the dustbin and dust bag, floor-washing water through the roller mop and station tanks, and upholstery-cleaning solution through the portable cleaner. eufy's E25/E28 maintenance guidance calls for regular cleaning of filters, brushes, roller mop, sensors, tanks and tray, while app prompts track replacement intervals. The robot and station must be powered down before manual service, and washed components must be fully dry before return to a suction or electrical path.

Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: End the task and isolate power
Return the robot, end cleaning in the app, switch the robot off and unplug the Omni station before manual maintenance. Remove the E28 portable deep cleaner from its dock only after the system stops. Keep tank water away from plugs, charging contacts and the station interior.
Step 2: Empty and clean the station tanks
Remove the dirty-water tank first so it cannot spill while other parts are handled. Empty it promptly, rinse the tank, lid, float and user-removable filter, and brush away film. Rinse the clean-water tank separately. Use only eufy-approved solution and never mix bleach, vinegar or foaming detergent in the system.
Step 3: Clean the station tray
Remove the cleaning tray as the user guide shows, discard hair and sludge, rinse approved removable sections and wipe the station cavity rather than pouring water into it. Dry metal detector or contact areas. Reinstall the tray level and fully seated; a dirty or missing tray can trigger wastewater errors.
Step 4: Service the robot dustbin and filter
Open the robot, remove the dustbin and empty debris. Tap the filter gently, then wash the dustbin and filter under running water only if the E28 guide marks both washable. Air-dry completely before assembly. A clogged filter causes weak suction; a damp one can carry moisture toward the fan.
Step 5: Remove DuoSpiral roller debris
Release the brush guard and lift out the roller brushes. Pull away hair and thread, using small scissors without cutting rubber or bristles. Clean both end areas and the accessible cavity. Wash only components eufy identifies as washable, dry them and snap the rollers and guard back into their keyed positions.
Step 6: Clean side brushes, wheels and sensors
Remove wrapped hair from side brushes and axles, and turn each wheel by hand while the robot is off to free accessible debris. Wipe cliff, wall, obstacle and charging sensors with a soft dry cloth. Do not wet the laser module, camera or charging contacts and do not remove wheel modules.
Step 7: Clean the HydroJet roller mop
Use its release to remove the roller mop and inspect the roller and bracket. Rinse the user-removable mop under clean water, clear hair or hardened debris from its ends and clean the bracket as shown. Dry before reinstalling until it clicks. Persistent poor mopping can result from debris in either the roller or bracket.
Step 8: Check the station dust bag and airway
Open the dry dust-bag compartment away from wet tanks. Replace a full bag rather than emptying or washing it. Check the bag opening, robot dust outlet and accessible station inlet for a blockage, using a dry tool. Keep wet cloths and tank drips out of the auto-empty path.
Step 9: Clean the FlexiOne portable deep cleaner
After upholstery or spot cleaning, empty the portable cleaner's dirty-water reservoir and rinse user-washable tanks and tool parts. Remove lint from the brush head; eufy identifies a dirty head as one cause of poor extraction. Wipe the powered body and connectors, and never use the dense brush on fragile or valuable fabric without the recommended test.
Step 10: Dry, reassemble and reset maintenance
Air-dry filters, dustbin, tanks, tray, roller mop, brushes and portable-cleaner wet-path parts. Reinstall every float, filter, cover and latch before restoring station power. Run the app's roller self-cleaning cycle when appropriate and reset a maintenance counter only after the part was actually cleaned or replaced.
