Step-by-step instructions

Step 1: Switch off, unplug and cool for 15 minutes

Step 4: Clean every used attachment

Step 5: Wipe the light-exit window and sensor

Support the Lumea body and wipe the glass light-exit window with light overlapping strokes. A dirty sensor can interfere with flashing, but heavy rubbing can scratch the optical surfaces. Stop if a mark appears beneath the glass.

Step 6: Clean the exterior without wetting openings

Use the barely damp cloth on the handle, buttons and outer attachment surfaces, then immediately follow with a dry cloth. Keep water out of ventilation slots, the power socket and internal attachment cavity. The Lumea is not a washable shaver, so do not hold it under a faucet or immerse any powered part.

Step 7: Dry and inspect the optics

Let every part air-dry on a clean surface. Under bright angled light, confirm that the window, reflector, sensor and connectors are free of hair, film and moisture. Do not use a hair dryer, heater, cotton swab that sheds fibers or compressed air. Cracks, permanent discoloration, blistering or internal haze require support rather than stronger cleaner.

Step 8: Reattach and store dust-free

When everything is completely dry, click a clean attachment onto the Lumea to protect the light window. Store the device and adapter in their pouch, box or case in a dry, dust-free location without tightly wrapping the cord.
