Step-by-step instructions

Step 1: Turn off and separate the powered pump

Step 2: Inspect all five washable parts

Step 7: Air-dry parts completely

Place pieces separately on a clean rack or unused towel and allow complete air drying. Avoid rubbing milk-contact interiors with a used cloth or reassembling while droplets remain beneath the diaphragm. Dry storage also prevents odor and makes it easier to see residue before the next session.

Step 8: Reassemble and check suction

Fit each dry part in the order shown by Willow, ensuring the diaphragm edge and valve surfaces lie flat and the container locks to the pump. Start a session and listen for a stable seal.
